🌿 Start Here

Welcome to Absolution, Ascent & Anchor—a space built from truth, stitched with memory, and anchored in love.

I created this blog to unpack what I’ve lived through—grief, survival, healing, motherhood, and everything in between. I don’t write from a mountaintop. I write from the middle of it—still climbing, still feeling, still figuring it out.

If you’re new here, here’s how to begin:

🕊️ If you’re carrying something heavy and your heart needs company, come sit beside someone who gets it.

Letters to Alan
👉 Letters to Alan
These are pieces of my heart—written to my brother, who I lost too soon. They’re full of ache and love and memory. If you’ve ever lost someone and still talk to them in your head… you’ll understand these.

Start with:

  • “28 Years” — a letter that marks time, ache, and everything that lives in the space between
  • “Can you see the tattoo yet?” (Coming soon, when ready)

🍂 If you’re curious enough to knock, I’ll open the door.

My Life
👉 My Life
This is where my writing began—before letters, before categories. Just me, sitting with the things I’ve lived through and finally deciding to say them out loud.

If you want to understand how I got here, these are the stories that shaped the ground I walk on now. Some are light, some are heavy. But all of them are real.

Start with:

  • The Beginnings
  • This Is Where I Start (pinned at the top)

🐚 Meaning lives in the things we shape with our hands and carry in our hearts.

Tributes & Symbols
👉 Tributes & Symbols
This space holds the quiet work—tattoos, stitches, symbols, and sacred details that help me hold on. Some are for Alan. Some are for others I’ve lost. All of them are made with care, like shells gathered from a tide that keeps returning.

🌊 Need a quiet tide to wade into?

Reflections & Check-ins
👉 Reflections & Check-ins
Coming soon—emotional tools, spiritual practices, and gentle ways to check in with your heart when the words are hard to find.
